Levi, Sylvain
(1863-1935)
   French Indologist. He was born in Paris. He taught at the Sorbonne, the Ecole des Hautes Etudes, and the College de France. He also served as president of the Alliance Israelite Universelle and the Societe des Etudes Juives. His publications include studies of Buddhism.
